3. Log into greendot.org/pearson.
  • Sign into your Greendot Google account. 
  • Now you are in the digital textbook, the PearsonRealize system. 
    • You will be prompted to do the following:
      • Choose language: English
      • Choose an icon and a background
      • Click “Let’s go!”
      • You can now access resources, assignments, and assessments on PearsonRealize.
        • Rather than using paper and a bubble sheet. This is how you take and submit your Multiple Choice Unit 2 Final in two weeks.
4. "Survival is your Own Responsibility"
  • Annotate
  • Summarize
  • 1-2 pieces of evidence for the tracker

Fall Break Homework:
  1. Argumentative Essay
    • Complete Argumentative Essay Packet to practice parts of essay needed for OUTLINE
    • Draft handwritten OUTLINE of your argumentative essay regarding: "Should people in life or death situations be held accountable for their actions?"
      • Evidence must include 4 different sources: 
        • 2 quotes from A Long Way Gone with adapted citation (Beah Ch#, Pg#)
        • 4 quotes from additional texts with proper MLA citation based on type of text
    • Type OUTLINE in MLA format and print. Bring to school 12/2 for peer grading.
  2. Geography Final Practice (Answers to Sem 1 Final)
    • Do not fill in the blank maps-- use for whiteboards.
    • Take practice test and score. 
    • Practice what you missed using white boards
    • Retake test and score.
    • Repeat.
