Comparative Essay | Finalize Outline & Write First Draft

Objective: Jedis will be able to develop a clear thesis that incorporates all of the prompt into one complex sentence, using a subordinating conjunction.

1. Jedi Meditation and Journal: Imagine you are looking in the mirror at a version of yourself that thinks and feels separate from you. It is you AND it is not you. Speak to yourself as if you are your own friend or loved one. What do you see when you look in the mirror? What do you think about this person? What do say to them when they are getting down on themselves? Speak to yourself with kindness, in the same way you would speak to someone you loved. Do not say negative or mean things to yourself that you would never say out loud to another person. Speak to yourself the way you wish other people would speak to you.
